ABOUT IPL
The most recent venture of Stafford Group of Companies, Inventive Polymers Lanka (Pvt) Ltd,
also known as IPL was founded in 2018. IPL is a subsidiary of Spectrum Trading Company
Private Limited which is the logistic arm of Stafford Group. The focal point of the company is
conceptualizing and developing recyclable polymer products. The company has invested in
state-of-the-art plastic injection molding and testing machinery to produce the highest
quality products. Currently, the company is manufacturing Motorcycle Helmets (SHAKO) in
addition to the face shields, Number plate garnishes and several other products. The company
has a strong focus on Research and Development and several products are currently at the
designing stage.
ABOUT THE SHAKO HELMETS
Road safety is a major concern as road accidents are increasing tremendously. It is
extremely important to be aware that road traffic injuries remain an important public
health problem. When road safety products are utilized correctly or efficiently, they can
help save lives, prevent accidents and injuries, and keep a society functioning in the most
optimal way.
In order to achieve the above, IPL has taken steps to launch our newest polymer-based
product, which is “Possibly the Safest Helmet” namely “SHAKO”. We have marked a
distinct and dynamic position in the market by providing a high-quality helmet and
helmet parts.
In order to develop the safest helmet in Sri Lanka, we invested in all testing equipment
and stepped up our research and development beyond the expected levels. With the
advanced research and development and quality control equipment we were able to
offer the safest helmet to the Sri Lankan riders.
